Phrozen Mega Cure S
The Phrozen Mega Cure S is a large format UV curing station designed for high-volume resin 3D printing workflows, professional production environments, and users whose print size or batch volume exceeds the capacity of standard compact curing stations. It is the curing station counterpart to the Wash Mega S wash station in the Phrozen large format post-processing range.
The curing chamber uses 405 nm UV LEDs and a 360 degree transparent rotating turntable to deliver even UV exposure across all surfaces of the model simultaneously. The transparent turntable allows visual monitoring of the curing process without interrupting the cycle. Dual high-speed fans operating at 1,700 RPM support rapid drying, which removes residual cleaning solvent from the model surface before UV exposure begins. Three operating modes are available: dry only, cure only, and dry then cure sequentially. A detachable internal rack accommodates both large single models and batches of smaller parts across the same curing cycle.

Frequently asked questions
Which printers is the Mega Cure S suited for?
The Mega Cure S is suited for large format Phrozen printers including the Sonic Mega 8K S, Sonic Mega 8K V2, and the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX. Its maximum curing size of 35 x 30 cm diameter accommodates the build volumes of these printers. For standard desktop printer users, the Phrozen Wash and Cure Kit is the more appropriate option.
Why is 360 degree rotation important for curing?
Resin cured under a single-direction UV source produces parts with inconsistent mechanical properties. Fully cured surfaces face the light while partially cured surfaces face away, leaving under-cured regions that remain tacky or structurally weaker. The 360 degree rotating turntable ensures all surfaces receive equal UV exposure across the full cure cycle.
Why does the Mega Cure S have a drying mode?
Residual cleaning solvent on the model surface during UV exposure can inhibit full surface cure and leave a tacky layer. The dual 1,700 RPM fans remove solvent before UV starts in the dry then cure sequential mode.
What is the recommended cure time?
The timer range is 1 to 120 minutes with a recommended maximum of 30 minutes per cycle. Optimal cure time depends on the resin type, model geometry, and wall thickness. Over-curing causes brittleness in many resin formulations.
Can the Mega Cure S handle batches of smaller parts?
Yes. The detachable internal rack accommodates both large single models and batches of smaller parts across the same curing cycle, allowing vertical placement of parts to maximise chamber capacity.
What types of resin is the Mega Cure S compatible with?
The Mega Cure S uses 405 nm UV LEDs, the standard curing wavelength for the majority of photopolymer resins including Phrozen, Monocure3D, and Resione resins, as well as most engineering, castable, and dental resins.
What is the difference between the Mega Cure S and the Phrozen Wash and Cure Kit?
The Wash and Cure Kit is a compact combined unit suited for standard desktop resin printer build volumes up to 25 x 23.5 cm diameter. The Mega Cure S is a standalone large format curing station with a 35 x 30 cm diameter chamber and dual 1,700 RPM fans, designed for Mega series printer output.
Is the Mega Cure S stocked in Australia?
Yes. The Phrozen Mega Cure S is stocked in Australia by 3D Cast, the official Australian Phrozen distributor. Ships from our Bairnsdale, Victoria warehouse via courier due to its size and weight of 15 kg.
