Phrozen Water Washable Model Gray 3D Printer Resin: Water Washable Resin for Modelling and Miniatures
Phrozen Water Washable Model Gray is an MSLA photopolymer resin that cleans with tap water rather than isopropyl alcohol or other solvents, formulated for modellers, miniature painters, educators, and hobbyists who print in environments where solvent storage and ventilation are impractical. The water washable chemistry replaces the solvent solubility of standard resins with a water-soluble uncured resin composition, which means uncured resin residue on the print and build plate rinses away under running water within two to three minutes.
The practical implication is a simplified post processing workflow. Standard resin printing requires isopropyl alcohol wash stations, dedicated containers, and careful solvent disposal. Water Washable Model Gray reduces that workflow to a water rinse followed by UV cure, which lowers the barrier to printing in home studios, school environments, and shared workspaces where solvent handling creates safety or storage issues.
Print quality is not compromised by the water washable formulation. The resin produces crisp surface detail, smooth layer transitions, and accurate geometry suitable for miniature figures, scale models, display prototypes, and detailed props. The neutral gray colour provides strong contrast for surface inspection and is the most practical base colour for painting, as it accepts primer without requiring colour neutralisation.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
