Frequently Asked Questions
Phrozen High Speed PLA is compatible with any FDM 3D printer that accepts 1.75 mm filament. It is specifically formulated for CoreXY printers like the Phrozen Arco where it maintains quality at speeds up to 600 mm/s. It will also run on standard bed-slinger printers at their normal speeds.
Yes. All 8 colours in the Phrozen High Speed PLA range use identical print settings: nozzle 190 to 220 degrees Celsius, PEI bed 45 to 60 degrees Celsius. This means you can switch colours or run multiple colours via the Chroma Kit without adjusting slicer profiles between colours.
No. Phrozen High Speed PLA does not require an enclosure. It prints reliably in open-frame setups. An enclosure such as the Phrozen PentaShield is recommended for engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, and polycarbonate, but is not required for PLA.
Yes. Phrozen High Speed PLA is fully compatible with the Phrozen Chroma Kit multicolour system. Because all 8 colours share identical print settings, multi-colour jobs using the Chroma Kit do not require per-channel profile adjustments.
Yes. Phrozen High Speed PLA is stocked in Australia by 3D Cast, the official Australian Phrozen distributor. Orders ship from our Bairnsdale, Victoria warehouse. No international shipping wait and no minimum order quantities.
