Phrozen Heat & Mix Dental Resin Mixing Station
Dental resins settle. Composites separate. Manual shaking is inconsistent and rarely achieves full homogeneity throughout the bottle. The Phrozen Heat & Mix is a dedicated dental resin mixing station that solves this with hands-free multidirectional mixing and controlled heating, ensuring every pour is perfectly prepared before it reaches your printer. Available in Australia with same-day dispatch from local stock.
In high volume dental workflows, resin preparation is not a step to leave to chance. Inconsistent mixing leads to colour variation, uneven composite distribution, weaker mechanical properties, and failed prints. The Phrozen Heat & Mix removes that variability entirely.
Three Mixing Modes Built for Dental Workflows
Quick Shake runs for 5 minutes without heating. Use it for a last minute mix before pouring lower viscosity resins when time is short.
Heat & Shake combines multidirectional mixing with controlled heating up to 50°C. This is the mode for high composite and ceramic filled resins that are thick, have settled pigments, or need warming to improve flow before printing. Surgical guides in 15 to 30 minutes, ceramic filled restorations in 30 to 45 minutes, occlusal splints in 15 to 30 minutes.
Constant Shake runs for up to 6 hours without heating. Keep resin on standby and ready for the next pour throughout a full day of batch printing without touching the bottle.
Why Dental Clinics and Labs Choose the Phrozen Heat & Mix
Unlike simple orbital shakers or manual agitation, the Heat & Mix dental resin mixer uses a rolling and tilting action that reaches every part of the bottle. Composites are dispersed evenly throughout rather than concentrated at the bottom or sides. The result is consistent colour, even composite distribution, and better mechanical properties in every print.
Before the Heat & Mix: inconsistent colour on the surface, unevenly mixed composite, weaker mechanical properties, and higher reprint rates.
After the Heat & Mix: perfect surface aesthetics, fully homogenous resin, stronger mechanical properties, and greater confidence in every print session.
Compatible With Your Existing Dental Resin Range
The Phrozen Heat & Mix works with most 500g and 1000g dental resin bottles in round or square format up to Ø 95 x 225 mm. This covers the full Phrozen Dental resin range and most standard third party dental resin bottles used in Australian clinics and laboratories. No special containers or adapters required.
Part of the Complete Phrozen Dental Ecosystem
The Heat & Mix pairs with the Phrozen Wash+ for post-print cleaning and the Cure+ for validated post-curing, completing a fully controlled digital dental workflow from pour to finished appliance. All units are stocked locally in Australia by 3D Cast, Australia's official Phrozen distributor, with same-day dispatch and full local support.

Ideal Applications
Chairside Clinics
Preheat and mix resin before every print session to ensure consistent colour, viscosity, and composite distribution for reliable same-visit results.
Dental Laboratories
Keep resin on Constant Shake standby for up to 6 hours during high volume batch printing sessions, ensuring every pour is perfectly prepared.
High Composite Resins
Use Heat & Shake mode for ceramic filled restorations and other high viscosity materials that settle quickly and are difficult to mix by hand.
3D Cast is the official Australian distributor for Phrozen Technology. That means genuine product, local stock, same-day dispatch, and expert support from a team that prints daily. Frequently Asked Questions
Dental resins, particularly high composite and ceramic filled materials, settle and separate over time. Manual shaking is inconsistent and rarely achieves full homogeneity throughout the bottle. The Heat & Mix uses multidirectional rolling and tilting to thoroughly disperse composites, while optional heating reduces viscosity for better flow. The result is consistent colour, even composite distribution, and improved mechanical properties in the final print.
The Heat & Mix has three modes. Quick Shake runs for 5 minutes without heating and is ideal for a last minute mix before pouring. Heat & Shake combines mixing with controlled heating up to 50°C and is designed for viscous, high composite resins that need warming before use. Constant Shake runs for up to 6 hours without heating, keeping resin in standby and ready for the next pour throughout a long printing session.
The Heat & Mix heats resin to a maximum of 50°C in Heat & Shake mode. This temperature is sufficient to reduce viscosity in high composite dental resins without degrading the material or affecting its printability. The heating is controlled and consistent throughout the mixing cycle.
The Heat & Mix is compatible with most 500g and 1000g dental resin bottles in both round and square formats, up to a maximum bottle size of Ø 95 x 225 mm. This covers the full Phrozen Dental resin range as well as most third party dental resin bottles in standard sizes.
Constant Shake mode runs for up to 6 hours, making it ideal for keeping resin prepared and ready throughout a full day of batch printing in a dental laboratory or busy chairside clinic. No heating is applied in this mode.
Yes. The Heat & Mix is compatible with all Phrozen Dental resins in standard 500g and 1000g bottles. It is also suitable for most third party dental resins provided the bottle dimensions fall within the maximum compatible size of Ø 95 x 225 mm.
Use Quick Shake for lower viscosity resins that just need a brief mix before pouring, or when you need resin ready quickly without heating. Use Heat & Shake for high composite or ceramic filled resins that are thick, have settled pigments, or require warming to improve flow characteristics before printing. Surgical guides, occlusal splints, and denture base resins typically benefit from Heat & Shake.
No. The maximum heating temperature of 50°C is well within the safe operating range for dental resins and does not degrade the material or alter its chemical properties. Phrozen recommends this temperature range specifically to improve composite dispersion and reduce viscosity without compromising print quality or material safety.
