Phrozen 15-Inch LCD Screen Protector: Sonic Mega 8K and Mega 8K S
Phrozen 15-Inch LCD Screen Protector is a sacrificial transparent film applied to the top surface of the LCD panel on the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K and Mega 8K S. It absorbs resin contact, vat handling scratches, and cleaning solvent exposure across the full 15-inch LCD surface in place of the LCD beneath it.
At 15 inches, the Mega 8K LCD is the largest screen in the Phrozen consumer range and the most expensive to replace at $550. The screen protector costs $27 and is sized to cover the full L 332 x W 188 mm surface of the Mega 8K LCD format. Proportionally, a 15-inch LCD has a larger surface area exposed to resin contact during normal vat removal and installation than any smaller format printer, which means the protective value of the screen protector is higher at this scale. A single resin spill that crosses the vat seal onto a 15-inch unprotected LCD can cause irreversible damage to a component that costs $550 to replace.
The protector is manufactured from optically clear material that maintains UV transmission across the full 330 x 185 mm build area without affecting curing accuracy. It applies with a bubble-free adhesive backing to a clean, dry LCD surface and is replaced when surface damage or haziness becomes visible.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
