The Phrozen Activated Carbon Filter 4-Pack contains four replacement filters for the Phrozen Air Purifier, each measuring 39 x 39 x 18 mm. At a rated lifespan of approximately 3 months per filter, the 4-pack provides approximately one year of replacement supply under regular resin printing conditions.
Activated carbon filters work through adsorption — VOC molecules bond to the carbon surface as air passes through. Once the carbon surface is saturated, the filter loses the ability to capture additional VOCs and requires replacement. A saturated filter that has not been replaced continues to draw power and circulate air without providing meaningful fume reduction, making filter replacement the primary maintenance requirement for the Air Purifier system.
The 3-month rated lifespan assumes regular printing use. Higher print volumes, resins with stronger VOC profiles, and environments with limited background ventilation will saturate filters faster; lower print volumes will extend filter life. The 4-pack provides a full annual supply for a single Air Purifier unit at the rated lifespan, or a 6-month supply for two units running simultaneously.
