Description

Phrozen UV Clay: UV-Curable Sculpting and Finishing Clay for Resin 3D Prints

Phrozen UV Clay is a UV-curable modelling clay formulated for filling, repairing, and detailing resin 3D prints. It is mouldable and workable by hand in its uncured state, cures instantly under UV light, and produces a hard surface that is sandable, paintable, and adhesive to cured resin, plastics, and metal.

The use cases for UV Clay are distinct from gap-filling compounds like Incredafill. Where Incredafill is a paste applied to fill surface defects and pinholes, UV Clay is a sculptable material used to add or restore three-dimensional form — rebuilding broken fine details, extending or modifying model geometry, creating custom additions to printed parts, and filling larger voids where a flat paste filler would require multiple applications. The clay consistency allows it to be shaped, textured, and positioned before curing, which paste fillers cannot do.

For miniature painters, UV Clay enables repair of broken spear tips, antenna, and fine appendages that snap during support removal or handling. For prop makers and model makers, it allows in-situ modifications to printed parts without reprinting. For sculptors working in a hybrid digital and physical workflow, it bridges the gap between the precision of digital printing and the organic quality of hand-worked clay.

Curing is instant under any 395 to 405 nm UV source, including the UV torch from any Incredafill kit or a standard UV nail lamp. The cured result adheres to the resin print surface and sands cleanly for primer and paint application.
