The Phrozen Sonic MEGA 8K V2 is an industrial-grade mono-LCD 3D printer that boasts a long-life monochrome LCD screen with ultra-high definition making it a professional machine capable of creating remarkably detailed models. Similar to its predecessor, the Sonic MEGA 8K, it offers an astonishing print area in combination with a 15" LCD and perforated build plate. Equipped with the new high-speed system, the MEGA 8K V2 prints faster than ever, producing up to 400 layers per hour.
Among other smart features, the machine offers a dedicated ACF release film for the screen providing great adhesion and smooth print removal, built-in drip hanger for better cost efficiency, and intuitive software with a number of advanced tools. The printer’s open material system allows using a wide range of consumables with different properties to get the desired results. To ensure maximum user friendliness, the Phrozen Sonic MEGA 8K V2 is supplied with a pre-calibrated build plate, so it is ready for work right out of the box.
Due to its ability to produce top-quality detailed models in a smart, convenient, and cost-effective way, the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K V2 is an ideal tool for personal and professional use in various creative spheres, including modelling, prototyping, mass production, etc.
The Phrozen Sonic MEGA 8K V2 is a large-format LCD 3D printer that can print layers at a minimum layer height of 10 micron, with an XY positioning accuracy of 43 µm. This way, one can produce objects with extremely smooth exterior surfaces and fine detailing. In addition, due to the printer’s ultra-stable Z-axis, large and heavy objects can be printed with no wobbling.
