Phrozen Dental V-CURE Vacuum Curing Station for Splints, Guides and Restorations
The Phrozen Dental V-CURE is a vacuum post curing station for dental clinics and laboratories in Australia that print occlusal splints, surgical guides, temporaries, crowns, bridges and dentures. It pulls the chamber down to a vacuum before UV curing begins, which removes the oxygen that otherwise leaves a tacky, under cured surface on resin parts.
Why vacuum curing matters
Oxygen interferes with polymerisation at the surface of a printed part. Conventional workflows manage this with a glycerine bath or an external nitrogen supply. The V-CURE removes the oxygen from the chamber itself, so parts go in washed and dry and come out without a glycerine soak or a gas setup.
Standard UV curing is usually enough for dental models. Vacuum curing earns its place on splints, guides, temporaries, crowns and bridges, where surface cure, material performance and consistency matter more.
V-CURE or Cure+
The two units suit different priorities. The V-CURE removes oxygen with a vacuum and has no heater. The Phrozen Dental Cure+ uses a 60°C heated chamber with flash curing instead. On Phrozen's estimates the V-CURE is faster on the same applications: models 7 minutes against 10, splints 6 against 10, and crowns and bridges 6 against 11. 3D Cast supplies both, so we can help you match the unit to the resins and appliances you print.
The V-CURE pairs with the Phrozen Wash+ for the washing stage. Check your parts fit the 120 x 120 x 50 mm curing volume before ordering.
3D Cast is Australia's official Phrozen distributor, with technical support handled locally.
Vacuum curing in just four steps
The V-CURE pulls a vacuum before UV curing starts, so there is no glycerine bath and no nitrogen supply to set up.

Place
Place the printed appliances into the curing chamber.

Select profile
Select the curing profile for your material. Adjust the curing time if needed.

Start curing
Start the process. The V-CURE creates a vacuum, then UV curing begins.

Remove safely
Carefully remove the cured appliances.
Parts must be thoroughly washed, completely dried and free from uncured resin before they go in.

Estimated cure times by application

Phrozen's preliminary estimates. Always follow the resin manufacturer's validated curing profile.
Ideal Applications
Chairside Clinics
Post cure splints, surgical guides, temporaries and crowns without a glycerine bath or gas setup, with estimated cycles of 3 to 6 minutes.
Dental Laboratories
Vacuum curing for intraoral and high performance resins, with adjustable UV intensity and Flash mode for consistent results across appliance types.
Mixed Practices
Standard UV curing is usually enough for models. Use the V-CURE where surface cure and material performance matter most, such as splints, guides, temporaries and dentures.
3D Cast is the official Australian distributor for Phrozen Technology. That means genuine product and technical support handled locally for Australian dental practices and labs, from a team that works with Phrozen equipment every day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Oxygen interferes with resin polymerisation at the surface of a printed part. The V-CURE creates a vacuum in the chamber before UV curing begins, which reduces the oxygen and supports a more complete and uniform surface cure.
No. The vacuum removes the need for a glycerine bath and for an external nitrogen supply. Parts must be thoroughly washed, completely dried and free from uncured resin before curing.
Phrozen's preliminary estimates are 1 minute for gingiva masks, 3 to 4 minutes for surgical guides, 5 minutes for denture bases, 6 minutes for crowns and bridges, occlusal splints and hybrid dentures, and 7 minutes for dental models. Final times can vary with the material.
High performance and intraoral dental resins, such as splint, surgical guide, temporary, crown and bridge, and denture materials. Standard UV curing is usually enough for model resins. Always follow the resin manufacturer's instructions for use or validated curing profile.
The V-CURE uses a vacuum and has no heater. The Cure+ uses a 60°C heated chamber with flash curing. Yes. There are 5 levels of UV intensity and 4 levels of Flash mode, and the curing time can be adjusted beyond the material profiles. Profiles are selected on the 5 inch touchscreen.
The V-CURE operates on 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz, with a rated power of 150 W and a maximum of 4A. That range covers Australian mains supply.
Yes. Wash printed appliances in the Wash+, dry them completely, then transfer them to the V-CURE for curing. Both units are available from 3D Cast.
No. The V-CURE has no built in heating function and no temperature control. If a heated chamber is a priority for your resins, the Cure+ is the Phrozen unit that provides one.
The V-CURE is covered by Phrozen's standard warranty. As Australia's official Phrozen distributor, 3D Cast provides local warranty support and technical assistance. Contact our team for warranty claims, troubleshooting or setup guidance.
