Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K S Build Plate: Official Replacement Build Plate
The Phrozen Build Plate is the official replacement build plate for the Sonic Mega 8K S resin 3D printer, sized to match the printer's 15 inch LCD and vat footprint. It suits owners replacing a warped or worn plate, or keeping a spare on hand for printers running high volume or production workloads where downtime has a cost.

Phrozen sell separate build plates across the Mega 8K range. This one is specific to the Sonic Mega 8K S and is not interchangeable with the standard Mega 8K or Mega 8K V2 plates, even though all three printers share a similar 15 inch footprint. 3D Cast stocks this as a genuine Phrozen spare part in Gippsland, Victoria, and checks the exact printer model against the order before dispatch.

Really user friendly - easy to work with (even in very small quantities and very tight spots). Cures almost instantaneously under the supplied UV torch and then easy to sand back, scribe etc. A must have product for scale modeling!

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.
Simple replacement part. Easy install. Comes with replacement tape included. Good product.
