Phrozen Alcohol Filter Bag: Filter and Reuse Your Wash Alcohol
The Phrozen Alcohol Filter Bag is a resin-specific filtration tool for hobbyists, print farmers, and studios who wash models with 95% alcohol or 99.5% IPA. It removes resin residue from used wash alcohol, restoring it to a clean and reusable state without evaporation, UV exposure, or waiting. Each pack contains two filter bags, and each bag supports an average of five filtration cycles, giving a 2-pack up to ten full cycles of use.
The filter bag is constructed from PP (polypropylene) mesh rated at 1 micron, which is fine enough to capture the resin particles that cloud used alcohol and degrade its cleaning performance. The process requires no tools, pumps, or heat: hang or clip the bag over a clean PP or PE container, pour the used alcohol through, and it drips clear. The filtered alcohol can be poured directly back into a wash station and reused immediately. Phrozen states each filtration cycle can save up to 50% of the alcohol that would otherwise be discarded.
The bag dimensions are 430 x 280 mm with a Ø180 mm opening, giving a 5-litre capacity that handles a full wash station batch in a single pour rather than requiring multiple small passes. It is compatible with the Phrozen Wash and Cure and Wash Mega wash tanks as collection containers. The polypropylene construction is chemically resistant to alcohol and IPA exposure across repeated uses.
The alternative to filtration is either evaporation, which destroys the alcohol entirely, or the natural settling method, which requires days to weeks and still leaves fine particles suspended. The Phrozen Alcohol Filter Bag addresses both limitations: the alcohol is reusable immediately after filtration and fine resin particles are physically captured by the 1-micron mesh rather than left in suspension.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with.
