Monocure3D Flex60A Black 3D Printer Resin: Flexible Rubber-Like MSLA Resin
Monocure3D Flex60A Black is a flexible MSLA photopolymer resin with a tested Shore A hardness of 65 to 67, formulated for functional parts that require true rubber-like elasticity rather than the slight flexibility of tough engineering resins. Shore A 65 to 67 places this resin in the medium firm rubber range, comparable to a car tyre tread or a dense rubber gasket, firm enough to hold geometry under light load, soft enough to compress, flex, and return without permanent deformation.
The defining mechanical properties are elongation at break of 166.9% and tensile strength of 1.92 MPa. The elongation figure describes how far the material can stretch before failure. At close to 167%, a part can be stretched to more than two and a half times its resting length before tearing. This is the property that makes Flex60A suitable for seals, gaskets, dampeners, grommets, flexible connectors, model tyres, and wearable components where the part must cycle through repeated deformation without fatigue failure.
Flex60A Black is compatible with the Monocure3D CustomMix system, which allows blending with other Monocure resins to adjust the hardness and flexibility profile for specialised applications. The black pigment provides a finished appearance for functional parts without painting or coating, and the black colour is standard for rubber substitute components where colour coding is not required.
Compatible with all MSLA and DLP resin printers. Layer heights from 50 to 200 µm are recommended for flexible resins, as thinner layers can introduce brittleness in the Z direction on flex parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a flexible rubber-like MSLA resin for parts that need true rubber-like elasticity, such as seals, gaskets, dampeners, grommets, flexible connectors, and model tyres.
The product name reflects Monocure3D's nominal designation, but the resin's own published lab testing shows a tested Shore A hardness of 65 to 67. We display the tested figures here so you have accurate data for part design.
Elongation at break is 166.9%, meaning a part can stretch to more than two and a half times its resting length before tearing, giving it genuine rubber-like stretch and rebound.
Yes. Flex60A is compatible with the Monocure3D CustomMix system, allowing it to be blended with other Monocure resins to fine-tune the hardness and flexibility profile.
It works with any MSLA or DLP resin printer. Recommended layer height is 50 to 200 microns, since thinner layers can introduce brittleness in the Z direction on flexible parts.
Keep it at room temperature in a dark, ventilated space away from direct sunlight. After printing, store used resin in a closed, opaque bottle and don't mix it with new resin. Wear gloves and a mask when handling it, and wash any skin or eye contact with plenty of water.
Unopened bottles can be returned, though you'll cover the return shipping if it's a change of mind. Any defective bottle is covered by a free return and refund.
Yes. 3D Cast is Monocure3D's official Australian distributor, so you're getting genuine Flex60A Black with local support, not a grey import.
