Description

Resione F69 Black Flexible 3D Printer Resin: High Elongation Flexible MSLA Resin

Resione F69 Black is a high elongation flexible MSLA photopolymer resin formulated for functional parts that must flex, compress, and return repeatedly without tearing or fatigue failure. F69 sits in Resione's flexible resin range, designed for the applications that rigid and semi-rigid resins cannot serve: seals, grommets, flexible connectors, ergonomic grips, wearable components, and dampening elements where the material must absorb and release energy across repeated cycles.

The F69 formulation is optimised for tear resistance alongside elongation, which is a critical distinction in flexible resin engineering. High elongation without tear resistance produces a material that stretches well but fails catastrophically at stress concentrations such as sharp corners, thin walls, or fastener holes. Tear resistance means the resin propagates a tear slowly rather than suddenly, which is the property that determines whether a flexible gasket or seal survives assembly and service or fails during installation. F69 is formulated to balance both properties for functional flexible part applications.

The deep black finish is appropriate for the functional applications this resin serves. Rubber and elastomeric components in mechanical, automotive, and industrial applications are conventionally black, and the F69 colour suits direct deployment without painting. The surface quality is smooth and consistent, which is important for sealing applications where surface finish at the contact face determines seal effectiveness.

F69 is compatible with all MSLA and DLP resin printers available in Australia. Flexible resins perform best at layer heights of 50 to 200 µm; thinner layers can reduce inter-layer flexibility and introduce brittleness in the Z axis on parts that will be flexed perpendicular to the print orientation.

3D Cast is Australia's official Resione distributor, stocking genuine F69 Black resin with fast shipping Australia wide and direct technical support.
