Description

Phrozen Aqua Hyperfine Purple 3D Printer Resin: High Detail Miniature Resin

Phrozen Aqua Hyperfine Purple is a high resolution MSLA resin in Phrozen's Hyperfine series, designed for miniature painters, figure sculptors, and collectible makers who prioritise maximum surface detail and a distinctive print appearance straight off the build plate.

The purple pigment provides high visual contrast against cured supports and model geometry, making it one of the easier Hyperfine colours for evaluating print quality during and after the wash stage. For painters working on fantasy figures, character sculpts, or diorama elements where colour theming matters from the outset, the purple base also reduces the number of saturated colour coats needed over primer when painting toward purple, violet, or cold tone schemes.

Aqua Hyperfine is formulated for low shrinkage and high dimensional fidelity. In practical terms, this determines whether features such as fine facial geometry, thin weapon blades, hair strands, and tight undercuts reproduce faithfully through the cure cycle or lose definition. The result is a print surface that is ready for priming with minimal intervention.

The resin requires a 12K or above resolution printer to perform at its designed capability. On 14K and 16K machines such as the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 14K or Revo 16K, Aqua Hyperfine Purple reaches its full potential at layer heights from 30 to 50 µm, achieving the detail level those platforms were designed to produce.
