Phrozen 15-Inch LCD Frame Tape: Sonic Mega 8K Series
Phrozen 15-Inch LCD Frame Tape for the Sonic Mega 8K Series is the genuine OEM adhesive sealing tape pre-cut to fit the 15-inch LCD panel used in the Sonic Mega 8K, Mega 8K V2, and Mega 8K S. LCD frame tape seals the LCD into the printer frame, prevents resin from reaching internal electronics at the perimeter of the screen, and maintains the LCD alignment that determines curing consistency across the 330 x 185 mm build area.
At 15-inch scale, the perimeter of the LCD frame is significantly longer than on smaller format printers, which means there is more linear length of seal to maintain and more opportunity for a gap to develop at corners or along edges. The genuine pre-cut Phrozen tape is dimensioned to the exact frame geometry of the Mega 8K series, covering the full perimeter without gaps or overlaps that would compromise seal integrity.
Resin ingress at the LCD perimeter on a large format printer reaches the ribbon cable connections and mainboard components below the screen β components that are substantially more expensive and difficult to replace than the tape itself. At $25 per set for a printer that carries a $550 LCD replacement cost, frame tape is the most cost-effective component of any Mega 8K LCD service.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
