The Phrozen LCD Screen Replacement for the Sonic Mini 8KS is the genuine OEM 7.1-inch 8K monochrome LCD panel for this printer, updated in Q4 2025 with improved heat resistance, enhanced contrast ratio, and more stable long-term image performance compared to the previous panel version. This is the correct replacement for the Mini 8KS — it is not compatible with the original Sonic Mini 8K, which uses a different panel. Confirm your printer model before ordering.
The Q4 2025 revision addresses the primary degradation mechanisms that affect MSLA printer LCD panels over time: thermal stress and UV-induced decay. The improved heat resistance means the panel maintains its optical performance across more print cycles before degradation becomes visible. The enhanced contrast ratio improves the sharpness of the UV exposure pattern at the layer boundary, which directly affects how cleanly fine detail is reproduced at the 22 µm native XY resolution of the Mini 8KS.
LCD degradation in MSLA printers manifests as reduced print detail, uneven exposure across the build plate, layer banding, and an increase in failed prints. Replacing the LCD with the current genuine Phrozen panel restores the printer to its original exposure profile and, in the case of the Q4 2025 version, improves on the previous panel's thermal longevity.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
