Resione K Plus Black Tough ABS-Like 3D Printer Resin: Premium Tough Engineering Resin
Resione K Plus Black is a premium tough ABS-like engineering MSLA resin formulated for demanding functional applications where M58 class toughness is insufficient. K Plus occupies the step above M58 in Resione's engineering resin range, offering higher impact resistance, improved tensile strength, and a slightly flexible cure characteristic that makes it the appropriate choice for components under sustained mechanical stress.
The K Plus formulation is designed for parts that must resist both impact loading and sustained stress without creep or deformation. Fixtures that are repeatedly assembled and disassembled, housings that must absorb vibration loads, snap fit connectors that are cycled frequently, and protective covers that must survive drop events all represent the design intent of this resin class. The slight flexibility of the cured resin, more than M58 and less than a true flexible resin, provides the energy absorption that prevents brittle fracture without sacrificing the dimensional stability that functional parts require.
The deep black finish provides a professional appearance for components intended for direct use or presentation, and the black colour eliminates reflectivity on mould surfaces for users casting from printed masters. Surface quality is fine and consistent, accepting primer, paint, and adhesive without additional surface treatment beyond wash and cure.
Compatible with all MSLA and DLP resin printers in Australia. Recommended layer height is 30 to 100 µm.

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
