Resione M58 Gray is a tough ABS-like engineering MSLA 3D printer resin formulated for functional prototypes, mechanical enclosures, and general purpose engineering parts that need impact resistance and dimensional stability at an accessible price point. M58 is Resione's entry point into the ABS-like engineering resin category, providing the toughness improvement over standard resins that most functional printing applications require.
ABS-like resins are characterised by their higher elongation at break and improved impact resistance relative to standard photopolymer resins, which means parts can absorb minor impacts and flex slightly under load rather than fracturing cleanly. M58 delivers this mechanical profile in a gray finish that is practical for engineering work: the mid-tone neutral makes surface features, print layer artefacts, and dimensional variation straightforward to identify during inspection, and the surface accepts primer, paint, and adhesive bonding without surface preparation beyond standard wash and cure.
The resin is compatible with all MSLA and DLP resin printers available in Australia. Recommended layer height is 30 to 100 µm.

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.
Simple replacement part. Easy install. Comes with replacement tape included. Good product.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
