Phrozen Aqua Hyperfine Red 3D Printer Resin: High Detail Miniature Resin
Phrozen Aqua Hyperfine Red is a high resolution MSLA resin in Phrozen's dedicated Hyperfine series, formulated for miniature painters, sculptors, and hobbyists printing at the finest detail level current consumer resin printers can achieve.
The red pigment provides strong contrast for identifying fine surface detail, support contact points, and inspection of delicate geometry during post-processing. Red is a distinctive working colour that makes surface texture, undercuts, and fine mechanical detail easy to read before painting begins, and produces prints that photograph well as unpainted display pieces.
Aqua Hyperfine is engineered for low shrinkage and high dimensional accuracy. Both properties directly affect whether intricate surface detail survives the cure cycle intact. Miniature sculptors working on facial expressions, hair texture, and fine clothing detail depend on a resin that does not distort or pull during photopolymerisation. The surface quality that results requires minimal post processing before priming.
The resin requires a 12K or above resolution printer to perform at its designed capability. On 14K and 16K machines such as the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 14K or Revo 16K, Aqua Hyperfine Red reaches its full potential at layer heights from 30 to 50 µm.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a high resolution MSLA resin built for miniature painters, figure makers, and collectible sculptors who need the sharpest possible surface detail.
Aqua Hyperfine Red needs a printer with at least 12K resolution to perform as designed. Best results come from 14K and 16K machines such as the Phrozen Sonic Mighty Revo 14K or Revo 16K.
The red pigment provides strong contrast for identifying fine surface detail and support contact points during post-processing. It's a distinctive working colour that makes surface texture and undercuts easy to read before painting, and produces prints that photograph well unpainted.
It has a low shrinkage formula with 75 to 86 Shore D surface hardness and holds fine detail through the full cure cycle, so thin geometry like chain links and fabric folds doesn't pull or warp.
Wash prints in isopropyl alcohol following standard MSLA post-processing, then post-cure under UV light before handling or priming.
Keep it at room temperature in a dark, ventilated space away from direct sunlight. After printing, store used resin in a closed, opaque bottle and don't mix it with new resin. Wear gloves and a mask when handling it, and wash any skin or eye contact with plenty of water.
Unopened bottles can be returned, though you'll cover the return shipping if it's a change of mind. Any defective bottle is covered by a free return and refund. If you haven't used Aqua Hyperfine before, 3D Cast also stocks sample bottles so you can try it before committing to a full 1kg bottle.
Yes. 3D Cast is Phrozen's official Australian distributor, so you're getting genuine Aqua Hyperfine Red with local warranty and support, not a grey import.
