Monocure3D Resinaway Original Scent is a purpose-formulated resin 3D print cleaning solvent that removes uncured photopolymer resin from printed parts, build plates, resin vats, and tools. It is non-flammable and low-odour, which are the two practical advantages that distinguish it from isopropyl alcohol as the primary wash solvent for resin printing.
IPA is flammable, which creates storage requirements and fire risk in workshop, studio, and home environments. Resinaway is non-flammable, removing that risk entirely. IPA also has a strong odour that requires adequate ventilation during use. Resinaway's lower odour makes it more practical in environments where high-flow ventilation is not available. Both properties make Resinaway the more appropriate choice for indoor printing environments, particularly in shared spaces or home studios where IPA presents management challenges.
Resinaway is formulated for direct use, undiluted, in ultrasonic cleaning baths, dedicated wash stations, or manual dip containers. The recommended workflow is to submerge the print in Resinaway until uncured resin is removed, drain, then dry with compressed air or a lint-free cloth before post-curing under a 405 nm UV light. A water rinse after curing completes the process.
The solution is reusable. Spent Resinaway can be left in direct sunlight to cure the suspended resin particles into solid form, which can then be filtered out, returning the liquid to service. This reuse cycle extends the effective lifespan of each litre significantly beyond what IPA allows, improving the cost-per-clean figure over a volume of prints. Available in 2 litre and 5 litre formats.

The cleaning performance and chemistry are identical. The Icy Mint variant has a fresh mint fragrance added, which is preferred by users in home studio or shared workspace environments where chemical solvent odours are undesirable. Both are available in 2L and 5L.
Yes. Resinaway is compatible with all standard 405nm MSLA and DLP photopolymer resins including Phrozen, Monocure3D, Resione, and other major brands. It is not recommended for water-washable resins, which are designed to be cleaned with water.
Do not pour spent Resinaway down the drain. Expose the used solution to sunlight or UV light to cure any suspended resin particles, then filter out the solids. The clarified liquid can then be disposed of in accordance with your local chemical waste regulations. Contact your local council for guidance on chemical waste disposal in your area.
The 2L size suits individual hobbyist users with smaller wash containers or the Phrozen Wash and Cure Kit. The 5L size is more economical for studio use, users with the Phrozen Wash Mega S (25L tank), or anyone printing at volume. Both sizes are available from 3D Cast.

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.
