Description

Phrozen PFA (nFEP) Film A4 Size: Premium Vat Film for Resin 3D Printers

Phrozen PFA (nFEP) Film A4 Size is a premium single-sheet replacement vat film measuring 210 x 290 mm and 150 µm thick, manufactured from perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) polymer. PFA film, also known as nFEP, is the upgraded alternative to standard FEP film, offering lower suction force during layer separation, higher UV transmittance of up to 95%, and longer service life.

The practical advantage of PFA over FEP is the reduction in peel force during each layer lift. In MSLA printing, the cured resin layer must separate from the vat film at the start of each lift cycle. Higher peel force increases mechanical stress at the print's attachment points, which is a leading cause of layer delamination and print failures on large flat cross sections. PFA's smoother surface reduces that force, improving print reliability particularly on larger models where FEP-related failures are most common.

UV transmittance of up to 95% means the curing light reaches the resin with less attenuation through the film, improving layer cure accuracy. The longer service life of PFA means fewer replacements and lower total cost of ownership over a print volume, despite the higher upfront cost per sheet compared to standard FEP. As a genuine Phrozen premium film it suits all Phrozen printers using A4 format vats, and is also compatible with any other brand of resin printer whose vat accepts a 210 x 290 mm sheet.
