Phrozen 7.1-Inch LCD Screen Protector: Protective Film for Mini Series Printers
Phrozen 7.1-Inch LCD Screen Protector is a sacrificial transparent film applied directly to the top surface of the LCD panel on Phrozen printers with 7.1-inch screens, including the Sonic Mini 8K and Sonic Mini 8KS. It sits between the LCD surface and the resin vat, absorbing resin contact, scratch damage from vat removal and installation, and general maintenance wear that would otherwise reach the LCD directly.
The screen protector is a low-cost consumable positioned in front of an expensive component. A replacement LCD for the Mini 8K or Mini 8KS costs $230; the screen protector costs $17. Its function is to take resin spills, cleaning solvent contact, and surface scratches that accumulate through normal printer operation, and be replaced rather than the LCD beneath it. The protector is manufactured from optically clear material that maintains UV light transmission without affecting cure accuracy or print detail.
The protector measures L 71 x W 165 mm, precisely sized for the 7.1-inch LCD format. Installation is straightforward — the adhesive backing applies bubble-free to a clean, dry LCD surface. Replacement is recommended when the protector surface shows visible scratches, resin staining, or any haziness that could affect UV transmission.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
