Description

Phrozen RPG Resin: Tabletop Miniature Resin for 3D Printing

Phrozen RPG Resin is a purpose-built MSLA photopolymer resin formulated for tabletop gaming miniatures, character sculpts, and collectible figures. Where general purpose resins require the printer to compensate for resin limitations, RPG Resin is engineered specifically around the geometry demands of miniature scale printing: thin limb sections, undercut armour plating, fine facial detail, and textured base elements.

The formulation is optimised for paintability. Tabletop miniature painters apply multiple thin layers of acrylic paint over a primer coat, and the resin surface that goes under that primer determines how well the paint layers key and hold. RPG Resin produces a smooth, consistent surface that takes primer and acrylic paint cleanly without the orange peel or micro-texture that can bleed through thin paint coats on lesser resins.

Mechanical durability is designed into the resin for the handling that gaming pieces receive. RPG miniatures are picked up, moved, and stored repeatedly across a game session. The cured resin delivers enough impact resistance that thin weapon hafts, protruding accessories, and fine antenna elements survive normal gaming use without the brittleness that plagues some high detail resins.

RPG Resin works with all MSLA and DLP resin printers. On high resolution machines such as the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8KS or Sonic Mighty 12K, the resin captures detail at the 22 to 43 micron range that defines the current ceiling for consumer tabletop miniature printing in Australia.
