Monocure3D Pro+ Dense Black is a premium urethane-based resin formulated for professionals and serious hobbyists who need a deep, solid black finish combined with superior mechanical properties and consistent, reliable performance across MSLA and DLP printers.
The dense black formulation produces a richer, more solid colour than standard black resins, with minimal light bleed at fine features. This gives finished prints a striking, polished appearance that suits professional display models, product mock-ups, and end-use components where a premium black finish is part of the design specification. Urethane-based chemistry provides better impact resistance and mechanical durability compared to standard photopolymer resins, producing prints that handle regular use without becoming brittle.
Low odour makes it comfortable to use in studio and workshop environments. Consistent curing performance across MSLA and DLP machines and full compatibility with Monocure’s CustomMix system allow colour toners and surface effect additives to be incorporated for custom finishes. I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.
Simple replacement part. Easy install. Comes with replacement tape included. Good product.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
Great customer service, if they had not done this, I would of had resin I would not use.
