Monocure3D PROTO Shark Grey is an Australian-made general purpose resin formulated for MSLA monochrome LCD printers. It is designed for makers, prototypers, and hobbyists who need a reliable, consistent resin for regular use that cures quickly and performs predictably across a range of project types.
Layer curing times of 2 to 3 seconds on monochrome LCD equipped printers keep print sessions efficient without requiring extended exposure adjustments. The Shark Grey tone provides good contrast for inspecting fine detail and makes surface features clear for post-print review and finishing. Low odour formulation produces a more comfortable printing environment during extended sessions.
PROTO Shark Grey is fully compatible with the Monocure CustomMix system, which allows users to add colour toners and surface effect additives to customise the resin for specific project requirements. Consistent layer adhesion, reliable curing, and stable mechanical properties make it suited to prototypes, miniatures, and general creative models. Available in 1 kg bottles.

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
