Phrozen Resin Post-Processing Kit: Essential Finishing Tools for Resin 3D Prints
The Phrozen Resin Post-Processing Kit is a nine-piece toolset covering the physical handling, cleaning, and surface preparation steps that follow every resin 3D print. It is designed for users who are setting up a resin printing workspace for the first time and need to acquire the core tools together, or for existing users who want to consolidate their post-processing equipment into a matched Phrozen set.
The kit contains the tools that address each stage of the physical post-processing workflow. The metal scraper removes cured prints from the build plate without damaging the plate surface. The plastic scraper cleans the resin vat and removes cured resin residue from surfaces where a metal scraper would scratch. The flush cutters trim support structures cleanly at the attachment point without tearing the model surface. The silicone mat provides a non-stick, chemical-resistant workspace surface for handling uncured resin and wet prints. Protective gloves prevent skin contact with uncured resin during all handling steps. The cleaning brush removes residual resin from recessed surfaces during the wash stage. The funnel with mesh filter strains and recycles leftover resin from the vat back into the bottle without contaminating the supply with cured debris. The sanding paper prepares cured surfaces for primer and paint. The microfiber cloth wipes down prints and tools without leaving lint.
Each tool addresses a specific post-processing failure mode: plate damage from improper print removal, vat contamination from cured resin fragments, support scarring from improper removal, and skin sensitisation from uncured resin contact.

Frequently Asked Questions
The kit contains nine tools: metal scraper, plastic scraper, flush cutters, silicone mat, protective gloves, cleaning brush, funnel with mesh filter, sanding paper, and microfibre cloth.
Yes. The kit is designed for users setting up a resin printing workspace for the first time and needing the core post-processing tools in a single purchase. Each tool addresses a specific step in the workflow from print removal through to surface finishing.
The metal scraper is used to remove cured prints from the build plate. The plastic scraper is used to clean the resin vat and FEP film, where a metal scraper would cause scratching or puncturing. Using the correct scraper for each surface prevents plate damage and FEP replacement costs.
The funnel filters leftover resin from the vat back into the bottle after a print session. The mesh filter catches cured resin fragments and debris, preventing them from contaminating the resin supply. This extends the usable life of the resin and prevents print failures caused by debris in the vat.
Yes. Uncured photopolymer resin is a skin sensitiser. Repeated or prolonged skin contact can cause an allergic reaction that worsens with each exposure. Gloves should be worn during all handling steps including print removal, washing, and support removal before UV curing is complete.
Yes. The silicone mat provides a non-stick, chemical-resistant workspace surface for handling uncured resin and wet prints. It prevents resin from adhering to benchtop surfaces and can be wiped clean after each session.
Yes. The tools in this kit are universal and compatible with all FDM and resin 3D printers. They are not exclusive to Phrozen printers and can be used with any brand.
No. The Phrozen Resin Post-Processing Kit covers physical handling, cleaning brushes, scrapers, and surface preparation tools. Wash and cure stations are available separately in the 3D Cast post-processing range, including the Phrozen Wash Mega S and Cure Mega.
