Description

Monocure3D TENSILE Shark Grey 3D Printer Resin: High Strength Engineering Resin

Monocure3D TENSILE Shark Grey is a urethane-epoxy hybrid engineering MSLA resin formulated for functional prototypes, mechanical components, and end-use parts requiring high tensile strength, low elongation, and a tough surface finish. The urethane-epoxy hybrid chemistry distinguishes TENSILE from standard acrylate photopolymers, delivering a mechanical profile that more closely resembles injection moulded engineering plastics in both strength and surface hardness.

Tensile strength in the TENSILE series is significantly higher than standard MSLA resins, which is the property the name directly describes. High tensile strength means parts resist being pulled apart under load, which is the critical property for brackets, structural connectors, load-bearing clips, and mechanical linkages. The shark grey pigment provides a neutral mid-tone surface that is straightforward to inspect for surface defects and dimensional variation, and the tone sits naturally between the light and dark values that show surface detail under directional lighting.

TENSILE Shark Grey is compatible with the Monocure3D CustomMix system, which allows colour toners and functional additives to be blended into the resin base for specialised applications. It is suitable for use with MSLA and DLP resin printers, and supports layer heights from 30 to 200 µm depending on the printer resolution and application requirements.
