Phrozen Aqua 8K Snow Gray 3D Printer Resin
Phrozen Aqua 8K Snow Gray is an 8K optimised resin with a cool, light gray tone that sits lighter than standard gray resins and provides a brighter, cleaner surface for inspection, photography, and painting. It is designed for model makers, miniature painters, sculptors, and prototypers who want a resin that reveals fine surface detail clearly while offering a versatile base for finishing work.
The snow gray tone is lighter than the standard Aqua 8K Gray, which makes it particularly useful for prints where subtle surface texture and fine line detail need to be visible on the raw model. The light surface also requires fewer primer coats to achieve a consistent painting base, which reduces post processing time for painters who want to move from print to finish quickly.
Formulated for 8K monochrome LCD printers, this resin delivers sharp edges, consistent curing, and good dimensional stability with low shrinkage. Its mechanical properties suit display models, miniatures, character sculpts, and general prototypes. Available in 1 kg bottles.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's an 8K optimised MSLA resin with a cool, light gray tone, built for model makers, miniature painters, and prototypers who want a brighter, cleaner surface for inspection, photography, and painting.
It works with any 8K resolution monochrome LCD resin printer at 405 nm, including the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8KS and Sonic Mighty 8K. It can also perform well on lower resolution monochrome machines.
The tone sits noticeably lighter and cooler than standard gray resins, giving excellent contrast for detail inspection and requiring fewer primer coats to reach a consistent painting surface. It also suits architectural and concept models where a clean, restrained finish is preferred.
It has a Shore D hardness of 75 to 82 and low shrinkage for good dimensional stability, making it suitable for both display pieces and light functional models.
Wash prints in isopropyl alcohol following standard MSLA post-processing, then post-cure under UV light before handling or priming.
Keep it at room temperature in a dark, ventilated space away from direct sunlight. After printing, store used resin in a closed, opaque bottle and don't mix it with new resin. Wear gloves and a mask when handling it, and wash any skin or eye contact with plenty of water.
Unopened bottles can be returned, though you'll cover the return shipping if it's a change of mind. Any defective bottle is covered by a free return and refund.
Yes. 3D Cast is Phrozen's official Australian distributor, so you're getting genuine Aqua 8K Snow Gray with local warranty and support, not a grey import.
