Phrozen Sonic CS+ Spare Resin Vat: Genuine Heated Replacement for Standard and Mini Configurations
The Phrozen Sonic CS+ Spare Resin Vat is a genuine Phrozen replacement resin vat for Australian dental clinics operating the Sonic CS+ chairside dental 3D printer. It is available in Standard and Mini configurations. The Standard vat holds up to 300mL and corresponds to the CS+ Standard plate workflow for full-arch and multi-unit prints. The Mini vat holds up to 150mL and is designed for the Mini plate configuration, suited to single-unit chairside prints with reduced resin volume.
Each CS+ resin vat includes a built-in vat heating element that maintains resin at a consistent 30°C during printing. This heating element is a critical component of the CS+ dual heating system, working alongside the chamber heater to ensure stable resin viscosity and consistent print quality across all sessions. When replacing the vat, the heating element, vat body, and nFEP film are replaced together as a single unit.
Each vat ships with a pre-installed nFEP film, allowing immediate use without requiring film installation before the first print. The nFEP film is a consumable component that degrades with print volume over time. Keeping a spare vat on hand ensures the CS+ workflow continues without interruption when a film replacement is due.
All CS+ resin vats stocked by 3D Cast are genuine Phrozen components, ensuring correct fit, heating performance, and compatibility with validated CS+ resin profiles.
3D Cast is Australia's official Phrozen distributor, stocking genuine Phrozen Sonic CS+ spare parts with fast shipping Australia wide and direct technical support.

Film Degradation
Replace when the nFEP film shows clouding, scratching, or reduced release performance. In high volume environments proactive scheduled replacement is recommended.
Print Failures
Consistent print failures or adhesion issues that cannot be resolved through exposure settings or resin profiles may indicate a worn or damaged vat film.
Workflow Continuity
Keep a spare vat on hand to swap immediately when replacement is due, avoiding any production downtime in busy clinic or laboratory environments.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Sonic CS+ supports two vat sizes. The Standard vat holds up to 300 mL and suits full arch and multi-unit workflows. The Mini vat holds up to 150 mL and is suited to single-unit chairside applications with reduced resin usage. A Both option is also available if you need one of each.
Yes. The CS+ resin vat includes a built-in VAT heating element that maintains resin at a consistent 30 degrees during printing. This is part of the CS+ dual heating system alongside the chamber heater. When replacing your vat you are replacing the heating element along with the vat body and nFEP film.
Yes. Each vat ships with a pre-installed nFEP film, allowing immediate use without any film installation required before printing.
Replacement frequency depends on print volume and resin type. Signs that replacement is needed include clouding, scratching, or visible damage to the film surface, and increased print failures. In high volume environments proactive scheduled replacement is recommended.
Yes. Replacement nFEP films are available separately for the CS+, allowing you to reline an existing vat rather than replacing the full assembly.
Yes. All vats stocked by 3D Cast are genuine Phrozen components, ensuring correct fit, heating performance, and compatibility with validated CS+ resin profiles.
Replace the full vat if the heating element no longer reaches or maintains 30 degrees, if the vat body is physically damaged, if resin is leaking past the film seal, or if the vat has sustained impact damage affecting its levelness on the build platform. A worn or clouded nFEP film alone does not require full vat replacement. Film-only replacement is the correct first step when print quality declines due to film wear.
Yes. Genuine Phrozen Sonic CS+ resin vats in both Standard and Mini configurations are stocked locally by 3D Cast, Australia's official Phrozen distributor. Local stock means no international shipping delays when a replacement vat is needed to keep a chairside workflow running.
