Phrozen Penta Shield: Five-Panel Tempered Glass Enclosure for the ARCO FDM Printer
The Phrozen Penta Shield is a five-panel enclosure built from a metal frame with 5mm tempered glass, designed specifically for the Phrozen ARCO FDM 3D printer. It is an ARCO-specific accessory and is not compatible with resin printers or other FDM machines.
The Penta Shield provides three measurable performance outcomes for ARCO users. The enclosed chamber raises internal print temperature by up to 10°C above ambient, which is the thermal condition required for engineering filaments such as ABS, nylon, ASA, and carbon composites to print without warping. These materials require a stable elevated chamber temperature to prevent the differential cooling between layers that causes warping and delamination on open-frame FDM printers. Operating noise is reduced by approximately 15%, which matters for users running the ARCO in shared office, studio, or home environments. A built-in carbon-filtered fan activates automatically when internal temperature exceeds 35°C, providing controlled ventilation without manual intervention and filtering filament fumes before they exit the enclosure.
The five-panel configuration includes three transparent side panels, a transparent top panel, and a solid rear panel. Transparent panels allow visual monitoring of prints in progress without opening the enclosure. The top panel is removable for overhead access during filament loading and build plate removal. All panels are removable for maintenance access.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
