The Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K S is a large format MSLA resin 3D printer built for mass model production, high volume batch printing, large scale prototyping, and professional prop making. The 15 inch monochrome LCD delivers 8K resolution across a build area scaled for output volume, and the high-speed mainboard enables printing at up to 400 layers per hour, a throughput level that significantly accelerates production for workflows where multiple models or large individual parts need to be produced regularly.
The build area is engineered around both scale and efficiency. Large individual components that would require splitting on smaller printers can be produced in a single run. Batch printing of multiple smaller parts across the full 15 inch plate reduces the number of print jobs required per session and maximises the value of each cure cycle.
The built in metal drip hanger is a practical production feature. As the build plate rises, excess resin drains back into the vat rather than dripping onto the machine or floor. This reduces resin waste, keeps the workspace cleaner, and simplifies resin management across high volume print sessions.
The Mega 8K S is compatible with the Phrozen Pump and Fill system, which automates resin replenishment mid-print to prevent vat level failures during long unattended runs. For users running the printer in a production or semi-production capacity, this is a meaningful addition that reduces the need for manual monitoring.

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
