Monocure3D Pro+ Ultra Clear is a premium urethane-based resin formulated for professionals and hobbyists who need true optical clarity in their printed parts. It is designed for applications where transparency is functional or aesthetic — optical models, display prototypes with visible internal features, artistic pieces, and product mock-ups requiring a glass like appearance.
The ultra-clear formulation produces prints with high light transmission and minimal internal haze, which distinguishes it from resins that appear clear in thin sections but cloud noticeably in thicker areas. Post curing and surface polishing can improve optical clarity further for applications requiring the best possible transparency. Yellowing resistance over time is an important characteristic for display pieces and prototypes that will be used or shown over an extended period — this resin addresses that directly in its formulation.
Urethane-based chemistry provides better mechanical durability than standard clear photopolymer resins. Consistent performance across MSLA and DLP printers, low odour, and full compatibility with Monocure’s CustomMix system for colour tinting and effect work complete the specification. I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
