Phrozen ABS Like Matte Gray is a tough, impact-resistant resin designed for makers who need a material that combines mechanical durability with a surface finish suited to painting and post processing. It is formulated to deliver high resolution prints with minimal dimensional distortion, making it useful for prototypes, functional models, figurines, and display pieces where the surface will be painted or finished after printing.
The matte gray surface is one of its most practical characteristics. Unlike glossy resins that reflect light and can obscure fine surface detail, the matte finish reveals sculpted texture, line work, and contour definition clearly on the raw model. It accepts paint, primer, and surface treatments without requiring extensive preparation, which reduces finishing time for painters and model builders.
Low viscosity ensures consistent flow during printing, low odour improves the printing environment, and low shrinkage keeps dimensional accuracy reliable. I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
