Where the ONYX Rigid Pro410 prioritises stiffness, ABS Like + is engineered for the toughness and energy absorption that comes from a resin with higher elongation at break, the property that determines whether a part flexes under impact and survives, or fractures.

The ABS-like mechanical profile means parts can absorb knocks and minor drops without the clean fracture that brittle resins produce. This is the defining practical advantage for components that are handled, assembled, or used in environments where incidental contact is unavoidable. Snap fit clips, housing latches, protective covers, and tool handles all benefit from a resin that yields slightly under load and recovers rather than cracking at stress concentrations.

The gray finish provides a neutral surface for inspection, sanding, and painting. Gray is the standard prototype colour for a practical reason: surface imperfections, parting lines, and dimensional variation are all easier to identify on a mid-tone neutral surface than on white or black.
