The Phrozen Dental CS+ is a chairside resin 3D printer designed for Australian dental clinics running same-day treatment workflows. It prints crown and bridge models, occlusal splints, surgical guides, aligner models, and study models directly in the clinic without sending work to an external laboratory or requiring a dedicated technician to operate it.
The 7.1 inch 385nm mono-LCD produces 22 µm XY resolution with validated accuracy, placing more than 95% of data points within 50 microns of the original CAD geometry. That level of dimensional precision is what makes fit-critical indications reliable from the first run. The built-in chamber and vat heating system maintains a stable print temperature throughout the build cycle, eliminating the variability that causes failed prints and remakes in variable ambient conditions. The slide-and-lock resin vat loads in seconds, and the fully enclosed construction with integrated air purifier manages resin vapour within the clinical space.
The CS+ includes both a Standard Kit and a Mini Kit, allowing the clinician to match the build configuration to the task. The Standard Kit build plate at 168 x 74mm handles full-arch models and multi-unit prints. The Mini Kit build plate at 75 x 75mm is sized for single-unit speed with less resin in the vat and faster post-processing. Both configurations use the same LCD and optics, so resolution and accuracy are identical across both kit sizes.
The CS+ uses an open resin system with validated profiles for Phrozen dental resins and broad compatibility with third-party dental materials through the Phrozen resin profile library. Phrozen DS Slicer manages slicing with AI-assisted orientation, automatic support generation, and integration with 3Shape, exocad, and other major dental CAD platforms. Connection is via Wi-Fi, USB, or Ethernet.
The CS+ is validated for restorative crown and bridge models, aligner models, study models, gingiva masks, occlusal splints, surgical guides, All-on-X provisional restorations, and denture bases. Phrozen provides step-by-step clinical guides for each indication through the DS Slicer workflow.
