Phrozen High Speed PLA 1kg Orange 3D Printing Filament

Phrozen High Speed PLA is a 1.75 mm FDM filament formulated for high-speed printing on fast CoreXY printers including the Phrozen ARCO. It maintains dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 mm at elevated print speeds, runs at a nozzle temperature of 190 to 220°C, and retains the low-warp and low-odour characteristics of standard PLA. Australian stock, official Phrozen distributor.

Product Care

Please operate at room temperature in a cool, well-ventilated area.
The material is hygroscopic; when not in use, please seal well and store in a dry environment to prevent moisture absorption.
When the material has been opened for a long time, it is recommended to bake it before printing.
If warping occurs during printing, please increase the heated bed temperature as recommended.
The nozzle is prone to clogging. Evaluate cleaning or filament replacement if extrusion is not smooth.
For personal safety, it's recommended to wear a mask during printing operations to prevent the inhalation of airborne particles that may be generated during the process.
Please dispose of waste according to recycling procedures for "general resource materials" in your local area.
The shelf life is one year; once opened, please use it up as soon as possible.

Returns

Free returns and refunds on products that have a defect. Returns and refunds (excluding shipping cost) are available on unopen packets. Customer to pay return cost if due to change of mind.

Phrozen High Speed PLA Filament, Orange

Phrozen High Speed PLA is a 1.75 mm FDM filament formulated specifically for high-speed CoreXY printers. Standard PLA is not optimised for fast extrusion and begins to under-extrude, string, or lose dimensional accuracy when print speeds increase significantly beyond 100 mm/s. Phrozen High Speed PLA is engineered with a lower viscosity formulation that allows consistent, clean extrusion at the speeds that printers like the Phrozen ARCO are designed to run.

At a recommended nozzle temperature of 190 to 220°C and a bed temperature of 45 to 60°C, High Speed PLA extrudes cleanly at rapid print speeds while maintaining a dimensional accuracy of plus or minus 0.02 mm. This accuracy level means parts come out true to dimension even when printing fast, which is critical for functional components, prototypes requiring fit-testing, and repeat batch production where consistency matters.

Like standard PLA, Phrozen High Speed PLA is low-warp and low-odour. No enclosure is required. It runs on standard brass nozzles and is compatible with most FDM printers that support 1.75 mm filament. It is particularly well matched to the Phrozen ARCO, where it is the recommended filament for unlocking the full speed capability of the printer without compromising output quality.

Common applications include rapid prototyping, concept models, visual presentation parts, iterative design work, and batch production runs where print time is a constraint. The orange colourway produces a clean, professional finish suitable for functional and presentation use.

Specifications

Material is High Speed PLA in orange, supplied as a 1 kg spool at 1.75 mm diameter. Dimensional accuracy is ±0.02 mm. Recommended nozzle temperature is 190 to 220°C with a bed temperature of 45 to 60°C. Compatible with most FDM printers supporting 1.75 mm filament, optimised for high-speed CoreXY printers including the Phrozen ARCO.

Phrozen High Speed PLA is not compatible with any AMS (Automatic Material System) or multi-material feeding system.

What makes High Speed PLA different

Formulated specifically for CoreXY printers running at high speed. Consistent across all 8 colours with identical print settings.

  • Formulated for CoreXY printers at speeds up to 600 mm/s. Standard PLA degrades in quality above 200 to 300 mm/s. High Speed PLA maintains dimensional accuracy and surface finish at full Arco speed without requiring adjusted profiles between colours.
  • Tensile strength of 55 MPa and dimensional accuracy of plus or minus 0.02 mm. These figures hold consistently across all 8 colours in the range, meaning you can switch colours mid-project without adjusting slicer settings or re-running calibration.
  • Nozzle temperature 190 to 220 degrees Celsius, PEI bed 45 to 60 degrees Celsius. No enclosure required. Runs on all CoreXY and standard FDM printers, not just the Arco.
  • Available in Gray, Black, White, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Orange. All 8 colours use identical print settings, so multi-colour projects and Chroma Kit runs do not require per-colour profile adjustments.
  • Stocked in Australia by 3D Cast, the official Phrozen distributor. No international shipping wait and no minimum order quantities.

DESIGNED FOR THE PHROZEN ARCO

Phrozen High Speed PLA is the recommended filament for the Phrozen Arco FDM 3D Printer. It is formulated to maintain print quality at the Arco's top speed of 600 mm/s without requiring reduced speed profiles or material-specific calibration runs. All 8 colours ship with the same print settings.
