Phrozen Mega Cure S: Large Format UV Curing Station for Resin 3D Prints

The Phrozen Mega Cure S is a large format UV curing station designed for high-volume resin 3D printing workflows, professional production environments, and users whose print size or batch volume exceeds the capacity of standard compact curing stations. It is the curing station counterpart to the Wash Mega S wash station in the Phrozen large format post-processing range.

The curing chamber uses 405 nm UV LEDs and a 360° transparent rotating turntable to deliver even UV exposure across all surfaces of the model simultaneously. Uniform curing is critical for mechanical properties — resin that is unevenly exposed produces parts with inconsistent hardness and potential weak zones at under-cured surfaces, which affects both the structural performance of functional parts and the surface quality of display models. The transparent turntable allows visual monitoring of the curing process without interrupting the cycle.

Dual high-speed fans operating at 1,700 RPM support rapid drying, which removes residual cleaning solvent from the model surface before UV exposure begins. Solvent residue on the model surface during UV curing inhibits full surface cure and leaves a tacky layer; the fan-assisted drying mode addresses this. Three operating modes are available: dry only, cure only, and dry then cure sequentially, allowing the station to serve as a drying stage, a curing stage, or both in the same cycle. A detachable internal rack accommodates both large single models and batches of smaller parts across the same curing cycle.

3D Cast is Australia's official Phrozen distributor, stocking the genuine Phrozen Mega Cure S with fast shipping Australia wide and direct support for dental, production, and professional resin workflows.

What makes the Mega Cure S different

Built for large format printers and high-volume workflows. The compact curing stations used for desktop printers cannot accommodate Mega series build volumes.

  • 360° transparent rotating turntable delivers even UV exposure across all model surfaces simultaneously. Uneven curing from a single-direction UV source produces mechanical property variation across the part. The rotating approach eliminates directional bias.
  • Transparent turntable allows visual monitoring of the curing process without opening the chamber or interrupting the cycle. Critical for production workflows where cycle confirmation matters.
  • Dual high-speed fans at 1,700 RPM support rapid drying before UV exposure begins. Solvent residue on the model surface during UV curing inhibits full surface cure. The fan-assisted drying stage removes residual cleaning solution before the UV cycle starts.
  • Three operating modes: dry only, cure only, and dry then cure sequentially. The sequential mode is the standard workflow for prints going directly from the wash station to the curing station in a single cycle.
  • Detachable internal rack accommodates large single models and batches of smaller parts across the same curing cycle. The rack allows vertical placement of parts to maximise chamber capacity.
  • Maximum curing size Ø35 x 30 cm. Suited to large format Phrozen printer build volumes including the Mega 8K series and Sonic Mighty range.

PAIRED WITH THE WASH MEGA S

The Mega Cure S is the curing station counterpart to the Phrozen Wash Mega S in the large format post-processing range. Together they form a complete large format wash and cure workflow that matches the capacity of Mega series printers. Both are stocked at 3D Cast.

360° UV CURING

The transparent rotating turntable delivers even 405 nm UV exposure across all model surfaces simultaneously. No shadow zones, no directional bias, no under-cured regions. The chamber accommodates models up to Ø35 x 30 cm, covering the full build volume of the Mega 8K series and Sonic Mighty range.

DETACHABLE RACK

The internal rack supports two levels of parts across the same curing cycle. Vertical placement maximises the Ø35 x 30 cm chamber capacity, making batch curing of smaller parts practical without running multiple cycles. The rack is fully detachable for large single model curing.

DUAL FAN DRYING

Dual 1,700 RPM fans remove residual cleaning solvent from the model surface before UV exposure begins. Solvent residue during UV curing inhibits full surface cure and leaves a tacky layer. The fan-assisted drying stage eliminates this before the UV cycle starts. Three operating modes: dry only, cure only, or sequential dry then cure.

TRANSPARENT TURNTABLE

The transparent rotating turntable allows visual confirmation of the curing cycle without opening the chamber. In production workflows, being able to verify parts are rotating correctly and positioned as expected without interrupting the cycle reduces waste from aborted cures.
