Resione TH-BJD Pink Cream is a specialist MSLA photopolymer resin formulated for ball-jointed doll makers, articulated figure artists, and custom character sculptors. The TH-BJD formulation addresses the specific mechanical and surface requirements of articulated figure printing that standard high resolution resins are not designed to meet.
The pink cream pigment is the defining practical feature of this resin for its intended audience. Ball-jointed doll face-up work — the detailed painting of facial features including eyes, lips, brow definition, and skin texture — is traditionally done over a warm skin-toned base. Starting from a pink cream resin means the underlying resin colour contributes warmth and skin tone to the face-up even before paint is applied, reducing the number of layers required to achieve a natural complexion and improving the final result on thin paint applications where the base colour shows through.
TH-BJD combines fine detail reproduction with the mechanical properties that articulated figures require. The formulation provides sufficient flexibility at thin cross sections to reduce the brittleness that causes standard resins to crack at joint flanges and thin limb sections under posing stress. Surface quality is smooth and consistent, accepting both water-based and solvent-based paints with good adhesion for face-up and body decoration work.
The resin is compatible with all MSLA and DLP resin printers available in Australia. Best results for fine facial geometry are achieved at 30 to 50 µm layer heights on high resolution printers.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
