Phrozen 7.1-Inch LCD Frame Tape: Mini 8K and Mini 8KS
Phrozen 7.1-Inch LCD Frame Tape is the genuine OEM adhesive sealing tape for the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K and Sonic Mini 8KS, pre-cut to fit the 7.1-inch LCD panel used in both printers. LCD frame tape is the gasket layer between the LCD panel and the printer frame — it seals the LCD in position, prevents liquid resin from reaching internal electronics through the gap around the screen, and maintains the LCD alignment that determines curing accuracy.
Phrozen recommends replacing the frame tape whenever the LCD screen is replaced. Reusing the original tape after removal compromises the seal quality because the adhesive does not re-bond with the same strength or uniformity. Using a generic alternative that has not been cut to the precise dimensions of the Mini 8K or Mini 8KS frame risks gaps in the seal at the corners or edges, which are the entry points for resin ingress during a vat failure or spill event. The genuine pre-cut Phrozen tape eliminates both risks.
At $21 per set, LCD frame tape is the lowest cost component in an LCD replacement. Skipping it to save cost introduces the risk of resin reaching the printer's ribbon cable and mainboard connections, which are significantly more expensive to replace than the tape itself.

I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.

I switched to this because isopropyl was stinking up the house from the garage. This has a nice lemon smell, cleans well, doesn't make my eyes burn from the fumes and didn't get cloudy after the first use. It did kick up the VOC readings the same as isopropyl, but didn't linger the entire day when I used my air purifier. Great stuff, will buy more.

Great business to deal with. Recently after a full days work, I placed an order. 3D Cast was on the ball, as the resin I ordered was different to my previous orders, as it turned out I pushed the wrong button, this was my bugger up. But, rather than just send it, they contacted me and asked if this was right and I was able to correct it.
