Phrozen Cure Mega: Extra Large UV Curing Station for Professional Resin Workflows
The Phrozen Cure Mega is an extra large UV curing station with a 40 x 40 x 45 cm internal chamber, designed for users whose model size, production volume, or workflow requirements exceed the capacity of standard compact or large format curing stations. The 40 x 40 x 45 cm chamber is the largest in the Phrozen curing station range and accommodates large format models, assembled multi-part builds, or batch curing of multiple large prints in a single cycle.
The curing chamber delivers 90W of 405 nm UV output through a full metal exterior construction that contains and directs light efficiently across the chamber. A 360° rotating platform eliminates the shielding effect that occurs when a stationary model blocks UV light from reaching its own underside or recessed surfaces during curing, ensuring all surfaces of the model receive equivalent UV exposure. Uniform UV exposure across all surfaces is the property that produces consistent mechanical properties throughout the cured part particularly relevant for large engineering components, dental models, and production parts where mechanical consistency is a performance requirement rather than a cosmetic concern.
The metal exterior construction distinguishes the Cure Mega from plastic-bodied curing stations, providing greater structural stability and improved light containment. The simple timer-based operation requires no expertise to use effectively set time, place the model, press start.
3D Cast is Australia's official Phrozen distributor, stocking the genuine Phrozen Cure Mega with fast shipping Australia wide and direct support for dental, production, and professional resin workflows.

Phrozen Cure Mega: Frequently Asked Questions
The Cure Mega has a 40 x 40 x 45 cm internal chamber — substantially larger than the Mega Cure S's Ø35 x 30 cm capacity — and delivers 90W of UV output versus the Mega Cure S's 70W. The Cure Mega also uses full metal exterior construction. The Mega Cure S has dual 1,700 RPM fans and three operating modes including sequential dry then cure. The Cure Mega is the appropriate choice for users whose models exceed the Mega Cure S chamber or who require the higher UV output for production curing of thick-walled engineering parts.
The Cure Mega's 40 x 40 x 45 cm chamber accommodates the full build volume of the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K S, Sonic Mega 8K V2, and Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX without repositioning. The 45 cm height is the critical dimension — it accepts full-height vertical builds from the Mega range upright in a single cure cycle.
Higher wattage means more UV photons delivered per unit time. For large mass models, this reduces the cure time needed to achieve complete polymerisation through the full wall thickness. For production workflows running multiple cure cycles per day, shorter cycle times compound. Standard compact curing stations deliver 36 to 48W. The Cure Mega delivers 90W across the same 405 nm wavelength.
Large models have more complex geometry, deeper undercuts, and larger internal surfaces than small models. When a stationary large model is cured under a directional UV source, the model's own bulk and geometry creates shadow zones where UV cannot reach. The rotating platform continuously repositions the model relative to the UV source, ensuring all surfaces including undercuts, recesses, and internal geometry receive equivalent UV exposure.
Plastic-bodied curing stations degrade under sustained UV exposure over time, with discolouration and structural weakening from prolonged UV contact. Metal construction does not exhibit these effects, making it more appropriate for continuous production use. The metal enclosure also provides more effective UV containment within the chamber, directing output toward the model rather than losing it through the housing.
Yes. The 40 x 40 cm footprint and 45 cm height allow multiple models to be placed in the chamber simultaneously. For dental laboratories producing multiple surgical guides or models per session, engineering workshops curing batches of functional parts, or production print farms running high volumes of smaller parts, batch curing in a single cycle reduces processing time proportionally to the number of parts batched.
Yes. The combination of 90W UV output, 360° rotation for uniform exposure, and 40 x 40 x 45 cm chamber capacity makes the Cure Mega appropriate for dental laboratory workflows producing full arch models, surgical guides, and dental prosthetic components, and for engineering applications producing large enclosures, functional prototypes, and structural components where mechanical consistency throughout the cured part is a performance requirement.
Yes. The Phrozen Cure Mega is stocked in Australia by 3D Cast, the official Australian Phrozen distributor. At 25 kg and 48 x 45 x 61 cm it ships via courier from our Bairnsdale, Victoria warehouse.
