Phrozen Cure Mega: Extra Large UV Curing Station for Professional Resin Workflows

The Phrozen Cure Mega is an extra large UV curing station with a 40 x 40 x 45 cm internal chamber, designed for users whose model size, production volume, or workflow requirements exceed the capacity of standard compact or large format curing stations. The 40 x 40 x 45 cm chamber is the largest in the Phrozen curing station range and accommodates large format models, assembled multi-part builds, or batch curing of multiple large prints in a single cycle.

The curing chamber delivers 90W of 405 nm UV output through a full metal exterior construction that contains and directs light efficiently across the chamber. A 360° rotating platform eliminates the shielding effect that occurs when a stationary model blocks UV light from reaching its own underside or recessed surfaces during curing, ensuring all surfaces of the model receive equivalent UV exposure. Uniform UV exposure across all surfaces is the property that produces consistent mechanical properties throughout the cured part particularly relevant for large engineering components, dental models, and production parts where mechanical consistency is a performance requirement rather than a cosmetic concern.

The metal exterior construction distinguishes the Cure Mega from plastic-bodied curing stations, providing greater structural stability and improved light containment. The simple timer-based operation requires no expertise to use effectively set time, place the model, press start.

3D Cast is Australia's official Phrozen distributor, stocking the genuine Phrozen Cure Mega with fast shipping Australia wide and direct support for dental, production, and professional resin workflows.

Built for output that standard curing stations cannot accommodate

The Cure Mega is not a consumer post-processing station. It is an industrial-grade curing unit for production workflows, large engineering components, dental laboratory output, and assembled multi-part builds.

  • 40 x 40 x 45 cm internal chamber. The 45 cm height is the critical dimension — it accommodates the full vertical build height of the Phrozen Mega series without repositioning. A model that requires two curing cycles on a standard station because it exceeds the chamber height cures in one uninterrupted cycle on the Cure Mega. For production workflows, repositioning between curing cycles introduces handling risk and inconsistency.
  • 90W of 405 nm UV output. Higher wattage across the same wavelength means more photons delivered per unit time, which translates to shorter cure cycles for large mass models and consistent cure depth on thick-walled engineering parts. Standard compact curing stations typically deliver 36 to 48W. The Cure Mega delivers 90W.
  • 360° rotating platform eliminates the shielding effect. When a stationary large model is cured under a directional UV source, the model's own geometry blocks light from reaching its underside, internal recesses, and recessed surfaces. The rotating platform continuously repositions the model relative to the UV source, ensuring all surfaces — including undercuts and internal geometry
  • Full metal exterior construction. Compact and mid-range curing stations use plastic-bodied enclosures. The Cure Mega uses full metal construction, which provides greater structural stability, more effective UV containment within the chamber, and longer service life under continuous production use. Metal does not degrade or discolour under sustained UV exposure the way plastic housings do.
  • 40 x 40 x 45 cm accommodates batch curing. Multiple models, assembled multi-part builds, full production runs of smaller parts in a single cycle. For dental laboratories and production workshops, batch curing in a single cycle rather than sequential individual cures reduces processing time proportionally to the number of parts batched.
  • Simple timer-based operation. Set time, place model, press start. No complex operating modes, no parameters to configure for standard workflows. For operators running consistent production output, this simplicity is operationally valuable — the curing step is not a source of variability.

40 x 40 x 45 cm — WHY THE HEIGHT MATTERS

Most large format resin printers build vertically. The Phrozen Mega series has a Z-height of 260 to 300 mm. A curing station with a 30 cm internal height cannot accommodate a full-height Mega build without tilting or repositioning the model. The Cure Mega's 45 cm chamber height accepts the tallest output from the Mega range upright, without modification. For dental towers, engineering enclosures, character busts, and architectural models that fully utilise the Z axis, this is the distinction that determines whether post-processing is a single step or a multi-step process.
