Phrozen Cure Mega

The Cure Mega has a 40 x 40 x 45 cm internal chamber — substantially larger than the Mega Cure S's Ø35 x 30 cm capacity — and delivers 90W of UV output versus the Mega Cure S's 70W. The Cure Mega also uses full metal exterior construction. The Mega Cure S has dual 1,700 RPM fans and three operating modes including sequential dry then cure. The Cure Mega is the appropriate choice for users whose models exceed the Mega Cure S chamber or who require the higher UV output for production curing of thick-walled engineering parts.

The Cure Mega's 40 x 40 x 45 cm chamber accommodates the full build volume of the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K S, Sonic Mega 8K V2, and Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX without repositioning. The 45 cm height is the critical dimension — it accepts full-height vertical builds from the Mega range upright in a single cure cycle.

Higher wattage means more UV photons delivered per unit time. For large mass models, this reduces the cure time needed to achieve complete polymerisation through the full wall thickness. For production workflows running multiple cure cycles per day, shorter cycle times compound. Standard compact curing stations deliver 36 to 48W. The Cure Mega delivers 90W across the same 405 nm wavelength.

Large models have more complex geometry, deeper undercuts, and larger internal surfaces than small models. When a stationary large model is cured under a directional UV source, the model's own bulk and geometry creates shadow zones where UV cannot reach. The rotating platform continuously repositions the model relative to the UV source, ensuring all surfaces including undercuts, recesses, and internal geometry receive equivalent UV exposure.

Plastic-bodied curing stations degrade under sustained UV exposure over time, with discolouration and structural weakening from prolonged UV contact. Metal construction does not exhibit these effects, making it more appropriate for continuous production use. The metal enclosure also provides more effective UV containment within the chamber, directing output toward the model rather than losing it through the housing.
