Phrozen Dental Cure+: Triple-Wavelength Post-Curing Unit for Dental Workflows
The Phrozen Dental Cure+ is a dedicated post-curing unit for Australian dental clinics and laboratories running resin 3D printing workflows. It combines triple-wavelength LED curing, flash curing technology, and a 60°C heated enclosure to deliver consistent, validated post-curing results across the full range of dental resin indications.
Post-curing determines the final mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, and biocompatibility of a printed dental appliance. A correctly cured surgical guide, occlusal splint, or crown model holds its geometry and meets the mechanical requirements of clinical use. An undercured or inconsistently cured part does not, regardless of how accurately it was printed. The Cure+ is built around that requirement.
The triple-wavelength LED array combines 365, 385, and 405nm simultaneously across 36 LEDs delivering 110W of output. Most dental curing units operate on a single wavelength, which means resins formulated for a different peak wavelength will not reach their optimal cure state. Broader wavelength coverage ensures complete polymerisation across the full Phrozen Dental resin range and compatible third-party materials without requiring the user to match unit to material. Flash curing delivers high-intensity bursts that penetrate deeper into the printed part without overcuring the surface, and the 60°C heated enclosure accelerates polymer bonding for superior final strength and biocompatibility.
Validated cure times for common indications are 5 minutes for surgical guides, 10 minutes for occlusal splints, and 11 minutes for crowns and bridges. The Cure+ ships with pre-loaded profiles for over 15 dental resin materials. Select the material on the 5 inch touchscreen and the correct time, temperature, and wavelength combination is applied automatically. The enclosed construction protects users from UV exposure during the cure cycle.
At 23 x 33.5 x 26cm and 7.3kg the Cure+ fits on a chairside bench or lab workstation without requiring dedicated installation space. It pairs directly with the Phrozen Wash+ for a complete post-processing setup and is validated for use with the Sonic CS+, LS+, and XL 4K Plus dental printers.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Cure+ supports three curing modes: Flash Cure (high-intensity flashing for deep, fast curing), Heat Cure (60°C controlled heating for tighter polymer bonding), and Normal Cure (standard UV curing for materials that do not require heat or flash). Most appliances use Flash Cure combined with Heat for optimal results.
A surgical guide cures in just 5 minutes using Flash Cure and Heat mode. Crown and bridge restorations take 11 minutes, occlusal splints 10 minutes, hybrid dentures 11 minutes, dental models 10 to 15 minutes, denture bases 20 minutes, and gingiva masks 20 to 25 minutes on Normal Cure.
Yes. The Cure+ ships with validated curing profiles for over 15 dental resin materials including the full Phrozen Dental range. It is also compatible with a wide range of third-party dental resins. Check Phrozen's validated resin profile list for confirmed third-party compatibility.
Flash curing uses high-intensity bursts of UV light to cure deeper into the printed appliance faster than standard continuous UV exposure. This delivers more thorough curing without the risk of overcuring the outer surface, which is critical for achieving biocompatibility standards in clinical-grade dental appliances.
The 60°C heated enclosure accelerates the curing reaction and enforces tighter polymer chain bonding within the resin. This produces superior mechanical properties including higher strength, better flexibility characteristics, and improved biocompatibility compared to UV-only curing at room temperature.
The Cure+ includes validated curing profiles for over 15 materials from leading dental resin manufacturers. Profiles are pre-loaded on the 5 inch touchscreen. Simply select your material and the correct cure time, wavelength, and temperature settings are applied automatically.
Yes. The Cure+ operates on 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz, making it fully compatible with Australian standard power supplies. No transformer or adapter is required.
Yes. The Cure+ and Wash+ are designed to work together as a complete post-processing workflow. After printing, place your appliances in the Wash+ for cleaning, then transfer directly to the Cure+ for post-curing. Both units are available from 3D Cast with same-day dispatch from Australian stock.
Yes. 3D Cast holds the Cure+ in local Australian stock. Orders placed before 2PM AEST ship same day with no international shipping delays, no customs complications, and full local support from our team.
