The Wash Mega S is compatible with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and purpose-made resin cleaning solutions including Monocure3D Resinaway. Resinaway has a longer working life than IPA before replacement and lower flammability. We stock Monocure3D Resinaway separately at 3D Cast, or the MEGA S Plus bundle includes 20 litres of Resinaway in the purchase.
After washing, residual cleaning solvent on the model surface can inhibit UV cure and leave a tacky layer. The Mega Cure S dry then cure sequential mode first runs the dual 1,700 RPM fans to remove solvent, then starts the UV curing cycle automatically. This is the recommended workflow for prints going directly from the Wash Mega S to the Mega Cure S.
Yes. The detachable internal rack supports two levels of parts in the same curing cycle. Vertical placement maximises the Ø35 x 30 cm chamber capacity, making batch curing of multiple smaller parts practical without running multiple cycles.
The built-in side drain valve allows controlled drainage without lifting or tilting the 25-litre tank. Used IPA or Resinaway containing dissolved uncured resin should not be poured down the drain. Expose the used solution to sunlight until suspended resin cures and settles, filter out the solid resin, then dispose of the clean solvent in line with your local council guidelines.

I’ve tested plenty of resins in the past, but Resione Tough74 v2 is on a completely different level. The material properties are incredible - it’s the perfect balance of rigidity and toughness. I’m using it for articulated garage resin kits, and the results are flawless. If you are tired of brittle prints and want something that actually feels like a manufactured product, this is it!
I have used the Phrozen 8K resin before, so I know how good a product it is. Delivery was fast. Sadly, whoever delivered it left it in the foyer of my apartment building without even buzzing me. Nothing to do with 3D cast but I hate to think what would have happened if a kid had got their hands on it.
